Meet Nicole
Nicole obtained a Bachelor’s degree from Texas Woman’s University, where she studied Child Development. She continued her education by obtaining a Master’s of Science degree in Community Counseling from Texas Woman’s University. She is also a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC).
Nicole completed a master’s level internship at both the TWU Counseling and Family Therapy Clinic and the Women’s Center of Tarrant County. While interning with the Women’s Center of Tarrant County, she developed and directed a psycho-educational support group program based on issues around healthy relationships.
During her clinical coursework, Nicole received training in individual, couple and group counseling. She works with a wide range of clients, including: pre-adolescents, adolescents, adults, couples, and families on a variety of topics related to depression, anxiety, PTSD, social skills, anger management, communication skills, coping skills, divorce, domestic abuse, grief and loss, life changes, relationship conflict, self-esteem, and self-harm.
